【摘要】:Thistestmethodcanbeusedforlaboratoryscreeningofprotectiveclothingmaterialusedtomanufacturegarmentsandaccessorieswornbypesticideworkers.Thistestmethodcanbeusedforthedevelopmentandevaluationofnewprotectiveclothingmaterials.Thistestmethodcanbeusedfortheevaluationofprotectiveclothingmaterialsagainstnewpesticideformulations.1.1Thistestmethodmeasuresrepellency,retentionandpenetrationofaknownvolumeofliquidpesticidewhenappliedtoprotectiveclothingmaterial.Noexternalhydrostaticormechanicalpressureisappliedtothetestspecimenduringoraftertheapplicationoftheliquidpesticide.1.2Thistestmethodisdesignedtomeasureperformanceofprotectiveclothingmaterialsattwolevelsofcontamination.Lowlevelofcontaminationisachievedbyapplying0.1-mLliquidformulationandhighlevelbyapplying0.2mL.1.3Thistestmethoddoesnotmeasureresistancetopermeationordegradation.1.4Thistestmethodissuitableforfieldstrengthpesticideformulations.Thistestmethodmaynotbesuitablefortestingprotectiveclothingmaterialsagainstvolatilepesticides.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
