【摘要】:Whilethistestmethodcanbeappliedtopureliquids,itisespeciallydesignedforusewithmixturesinwhichoneormorecomponentsmigratetothesurface.Dataofthistypeareneededforthedesignofequipmentforprocessingmixedliquids,suchasindistillationtowers.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthespecificfreeenergyofaliquid-gassurfaceashorttimeafterformationofthesurface.1.2Itisapplicabletoliquidswithvaporpressuresupto30.0kPa(225torr)andkinematicviscositiesupto4.0mm/s(4.0cSt)atthetesttemperature.Higherviscositieshavenotyetbeeninvestigated.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Warningx2014;MercuryhasbeendesignatedbyEPAandmanystateagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidney,andliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercury-containingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPAx2019;swebsite(http://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htm)foradditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercuryormercury-containingproducts,orboth,inyourstatemaybeprohibitedbystatelaw.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see7.3,7.4,and7.5.
