【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheexistentgumcontentofaviationfuels,andthegumcontentofmotorgasolinesorothervolatiledistillatesintheirfinishedform,(includingthosecontainingalcoholandethertypeoxygenatesanddepositcontroladditives)atthetimeoftest.1.2Provisionsaremadeforthedeterminationoftheheptaneinsolubleportionoftheresidueofnon-aviationfuels.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheacceptedSIunitofpressureisthePascal(Pa);theacceptedSIunitfortemperatureisdegreesCelsius.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see6.4,7.4,and9.1.
